MATERIALS

1-. Yarn of any composition, as long as it is Sport weight (15-18 WPI). You will need approximately 25 grams / 68 meters.
2-. 3.5 mm crochet hook
3-. Tapestry needle and sewing scissors.
4-. A button approximately 1 centimeter in diameter, sewing needle, and matching thread.
5-. Beads: There are two ways to insert beads into your Uzuri Necklace, and therefore different materials.
A-. If the beads or pearls do not fit through your yarn, you will need to sew them by hand. This means you should consider matching thread and a sewing needle.
B-. If your beads fit through the yarn, you should consider a thinner crochet hook, such as a 0.6 or 0.7 mm, through which the bead holes can pass.
In both cases, the quantity of beads will depend on where you want to apply them and how many you want to place.
6-. Optional: stitch markers if you deem them necessary.

SIZES

This design is one size and has the following measurements:
Internal Circumference: 48 cm
External Circumference: 80 cm
Width: 9 cm
Although this accessory comes in one standard size, in the first video I explain how you could make the circumference larger or smaller.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
1-. With this knitting guide, you will learn how to crochet textured stitches and the difference between viewing the right and wrong sides of these stitches. If you have never crocheted a textured stitch, this will be an enjoyable way to learn.
2-. Additionally, I will teach you how to insert beads into your work without pre-stringing them, allowing you to design with beads as you go.
3-. And as always, I'll share many tips and tricks that have been very useful to me while crocheting my Uzuri Necklaces.

You only need to know the basic concepts and stitches of crochet.
