Fine weight yarn scraps (between 15 and 20 WPI). The size of your heart will depend on the yarn weight you choose.

3.0 mm or 3.5 mm crochet hook. The hook size depends on the yarn weight you use. It is recommended to keep a tight tension so the stuffing doesn’t peek through the stitches.

Tapestry needle and sewing scissors.Fiberfill or synthetic stuffing (the same kind used for amigurumi).

Optional: beads, charms, embroidery thread, or anything you’d like to use to decorate your heart.

The size of your Valentin Heart depends 100% on your yarn weight! If you want a maxi-heart, use a DK weight or higher. If you prefer a smaller, delicate version, use a fine weight.
