1-. You need any yarn; you can use leftover scraps from another project. The material and thickness don't matter; it depends on your preference and how you want to wear it. Cotton, linen, mohair, merino, acrylic – whatever you have on hand and want to use.
2-. The crochet hook will depend on your yarn's thickness. In the video, I detail the yarns I used and the hook sizes I crocheted with.
3-. Tapestry needle and scissors to finish your ends.
4-. Optional: stitch markers (only if you need them)
5-. Beads, baubles, sequins, rhinestones, crystals, seashells, or whatever you want to adorn the center of the flower and the ends of the tie strap.
5-. Needle and matching sewing thread to attach the beads. This is in case your yarn is too thick and the holes in your chosen beads won't fit over it.

The size of the flower will depend 100% on the thickness of your yarn! If you're looking for a maxi-flower, use a DK weight or thicker. If you prefer it smaller and more delicate, use a fine weight yarn.
